SBCDC Website Privacy Policy (November 4, 2026)
Sunny Boy Community Development Centre (SBCDC) is an Ontario-based nonprofit. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, forms and donation pages, why we collect it, and what you can expect from us.
What we collect
- Food support sign-up (Google Form): your name, phone number, area or neighbourhood, and optionally your email, household size and the kind of support you are looking for.
- Donations (Zeffy): when you donate through our Zeffy pages, including Feed 365 and the Christmas Hot Meals campaign, Zeffy collects the information needed to process your donation, such as your name, email address and payment details, under its own privacy policy.
- Contacting us: if you email or call us, we keep the contact details you share and what you tell us so we can respond.
What we do not ask for
- The food support form does not ask for health information, immigration status or criminal history, and it is not directed at children. Share only what you are comfortable with.
- Our website itself has no sign-up accounts. Google Analytics is not enabled.
- We never see or store your payment card number. Card details go directly to Zeffy's payment processor, Stripe.
How we use your information
- To contact you about food support, community produce markets and programs you signed up for.
- To plan and run food support in the neighbourhoods where people ask for it.
- To report how many families need help as numbers only, never your name or contact details, to local farms and funders so we can bring in more food.

Services that process information for us
These outside services handle information on our behalf, each under its own privacy policy:
- Google Forms collects and stores food support sign-up responses.
- Zeffy processes online donations and shares your donor contact details with us.
- Stripe processes payment card details for Zeffy donations.
- Our website hosting provider and Linktree handle the standard technical requests needed to show the pages.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Records we are required to keep for legal, financial or accounting reasons, such as donation records, are kept for as long as those requirements apply.
Your choices
- Ask us what contact information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to remove you from our contact list at any time, and we will. Records kept for legal, financial or accounting reasons, such as donation records, are not affected by opting out of contact.
